Schumann was found guilty of 34 crimes; murders, attempted murders and robberies.

Schönberg had spent the whole day in bed suffering from triskaidekaphobia. On his seventy-sixth birthday, his friend, mentor and fellow composer Oskar Adler wrote Schönberg a note warning him that the year was a critical one: 7 + 6 = 13. This stunned and depressed the composer, for up to that point he had only been wary of multiples of 13 and never considered adding the digits of his age.

22-year-old Murderer and cannibal Stanley Dean Baker is arrested with Harry Allen Stroup carrying in his pocket the fingers of 22-year-old James Schlosser, whom he killed, cut out the heart and ate it in Big Sur, California, United States.

Baker had both a recipe for LSD and a copy of The Satanic Bible in his possession. He readily confessed involvement in the accident, startling police as he added "I have a problem. I'm a cannibal."
