Although pneumonia and/or Alzheimer's disease have been cited as Bronson's cause of death, neither appears on his death certificate, which cites "respiratory failure", "metastatic lung cancer", with secondarily "chronic obstructive pulmonary disease" and "congestive cardiomyopathy" as the causes of death.
