Sunday 22nd of June 1980 (x) — Mass murderer Alvin King III shoots 15 members of the church who had declined his request to appear as character witnesses in a trial in which he was charged with raping his daughter.
King kicked open the doors of the Baptist church, shouted ''This is war" and sprayed the congregation with gunfire killing 50-year-old Gene Gandy, 7-year-old Mary Regina Linam, 53-year-old James Y. McDaniel, 78-year-old Thelma Richardson and 49-year-old Kenneth Truitt.
