Murderer Donald Harry Fearn is executed by the gas chamber at the age of 27 in Colorado State Penitentiary, Cañon City, Colorado, United States. Fearn received his death sentence for kidnapping, raping, torturing and shooting 16-year-old high school student Alice Porter. Thirty-six hours before the murder Fearn's wife gave birth to their second child.
