Saturday 2nd of September 1972 (-) — Victim of Arthur Shawcross aka The Genesee River Killer Karen Hill is abducted, raped and strangled by Arthur Shawcross aka The Genesee River Killer.
Shawcross was arrested the next day. Shawcross was sentenced to an indeterminate term at Attica with a maximum of 25 years. He was released on parole in April 1987. In March 1988 Shawcross began murdering again.
