Reich was serving a two-year term for distributing his invention, the 'orgone energy accumulator' in violation of the Food and Drug Act. Reich was buried in a vault at Orgonon that he had asked his caretaker to dig in 1955. He had left instructions that there was to be no religious ceremony but that a record should be played of Schubert's 'Ave Maria' sung by Marian Anderson. (3 November 1957)

Tuesday 12th of March 1507 (-) — Duke of Valentinois Cesare Borgia is stripped naked and left to die by a party of knights. Borgia received a fatal injury from a spear and was then stripped of all his luxurious garments, valuables and a leather mask covering half his face (disfigured possibly by syphilis during his late years). Borgia was left lying naked with just a red tile covering his genitals.
