The Aquino government refused to allow Marcos' body to be brought back to the Philippines. The body was only brought back to the Philippines four years after Marcos' death during the term of President Fidel Ramos. From 1993 to 2016 his remains were interred inside a refrigerated crypt in Ilocos Norte. (28 September 1989)

Monday 29th of March 1683 (-) — Arsonist Yaoya Oshichi is executed by burning at the stake. In December 1682 Oshichi fell in love with temple page Ikuta Shōnosuke during the great fire at Shōsen-in. The next year she attempted arson, thinking she could meet him again if another fire occurred.
