I transported a mass of earth in plastic bags from the hole to the art venue. Dressed in a 1970’s suit and wearing sunglasses, I handed out a pamphlet to members of the audience. While an extended version of ‘Macht kaputt, was euch kaputt macht!’ by Ton Steine Scherben played loud through a ghettoblaster, I poured the earth onto the floor in a defensive wall structure. Then I poured a can of petrol over my head. Mixing the petrol with earth from the hole I made small muddy projectiles which I threw at the audience. (22 September 2007)
