According to one story while Pope Clemens V's body was lying in state a thunderstorm developed during the night and lightning struck the church where his body lay, igniting the building. The fire was so intense that when it was extinguished, the body of Pope Clement V was almost destroyed.

Monday 12th of February 2007 (-) — Mass murderer Sulejman Talović is shot dead by a police SWAT team.
Talović had shot five people and wounded four in a shooting spree for no apparent reason. Talović's body was later found to have been struck a total of 15 times by bullets fired by police. The entire shooting lasted for six minutes.
