Nobbs awoke the next morning with little recollection of the previous evening's events, and later went to see his doctor because of some bruising that had appeared on his neck. The doctor revealed that it appeared as if he had been strangled, and advised him to go to the police. Nobbs was concerned about what would happen if his sexual predilections were to be disclosed, and chose not to report the attack.

Thursday 23rd of April 1998 (x) — Kidnapper, serial killer and child molester Marc Dutroux escapes from the courthouse, where he was consulting the records for his defence, by knocking down a state trooper and running out of the building.
Dutroux was found by forest watcher Stéphane Michaux about three hours later in a wood, where his stolen car got stuck in the mud.
