Saturday 26th of October 2002 (x) — After three days of occupation by 40 Chechnen terrorists involving 850 hostages operators from Federal Security Service (FSB) aka Spetsnaz brigade storm the building
All 40 of the terrorists were killed and up to 204 hostages died during the siege due to poisoning by gas pumped into the ventilation system during the rescue operation. The identity of the gas was never disclosed, although it is believed by some to have been a fentanyl derivative such as carfentanil.
