1. Sunday 25th of May 2003 (x) — Shortly before sunset it is believed that two men, US pilot and flight engineer Ben C. Padilla and Congolese mechanic John M. Mutantu, boarded a Boeing 727-223 airliner with serial number 20985. With no lights, the aircraft took off, heading southwest over the Atlantic Ocean before disappearing.
   Neither the aircraft nor the two men have been seen since and no debris from the aircraft has been found.
