Monday 29th of July 1974 (-) — Singer-songwriter Cass Elliot dies of heart failure due to fatty myocardial degeneration due to obesity. There is an urban legend that Elliot choked to death in a ham sandwich. The Who drummer Keith Moon died of a drug overdose also at 32 years old in the same flat four years later.
Thursday 7th of September 1978 (-) — Drummer Keith Moon dies of an overdose of Heminevrin clomethiazole. An autopsy determined that there were 32 clomethiazole pills in Moon's system. Six were digested, sufficient to cause his death. Moon's flat at 12 Curzon Place was where Mama Cass died of a heart attack on 29 July 1974.
