On 20 April 1934 John Dillinger's gang, consisting of Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Homer Van Meter, Tommy Carroll, and John "Red" Hamilton settled at Little Bohemia Lodge after Dillinger's escape from the jail in Crown Point, Indiana on 3 March 1934. They were tracked down by FBI agents Melvin Purvis, W. Carter Baum and Jay Newman among others. (22 April 1934)

Wednesday 16th of October 1996 (-) — Consensual victim of Robert Frederick Glass Sharon Lopatka is tortured and strangled by Robert Frederick Glass aka Slowhand. Lopatka met Glass in an internet chatroom and agreed to be killed in a sado-masochistic sex encounter.
Thursday 27th of January 2000 (x) — Murderer Robert Frederick Glass pleads guilty to voluntary manslaughter of 35-year-old Sharon Lopatka and six sexual exploitation charges. Glass was sentenced to a minimum four years and nine months in prison, 36 to 53 months in prison for manslaughter and 21 to 26 months on the first of the other six other charges. Sentences for the other counts were suspended.
