Samir Helmy Ibrahim, Al Anba' Samuel, presidential photographer Mohammed Yousuf Rashwan, Saeed Abdel Raouf Bakr, Chinese engineer Zhang Baoyu, as well as the Cuban ambassador to Egypt and a Coptic Orthodox bishop. Saturday 28th of November 1942 (-) — Murderess Toni Jo Henry is executed by Old Sparky. During the time Henry was being tried Louisiana changed its method of execution from hanging to death by electrocution. Henry was executed within the basement of the Lake Charles Prison in Louisiana's portable electric chair which had been brought by truck from Angola the previous day. Henry was the only woman executed in Louisiana's electric chair.
