Thursday 17th of March 1938 (+) — Ballet dancer and choreographer Rudolf Nureyev is born. Nureyev was born on a Trans-Siberian train while his mother was travelling to Vladivostok where his father was stationed in the Red Army.
Monday 10th of December 2018 (x) — Serial killer Mikhail Popkov is convicted of 56 murders and sentenced to a second life sentence. In January 2015 Popkov was already sentenced to life in prison for 22 murders and two attempted murders. In July 2020 Popkov confessed to more killings, bringing the total number of admitted victims to 83.
