Thursday 3rd of July 1969 (-) — Rolling Stone Brian Jones drowns in his swimming pool under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Jones' body was embalmed, his hair bleached white, placed in an air-tight metal casket and buried 3m deep in Cheltenham Cemetery to prevent exhumation by trophy hunters.
