The cause of Sutcliffe's ruptured aneurysm resulting in cerebral paralysis due to bleeding into the right ventricle of the brain, is believed to have been started by an earlier head injury as he was either kicked in the head or thrown head first against a brick wall during a fight outside Lathom Hall, after a performance in January 1961. Wednesday 15th of January 1919 (-) — Revolutionary socialist and founder of the Spartacist Rote Fahne Karl Liebknecht is shot in the back by members of the Freikorps' Garde-Kavallerie-Schützendivision 43-year-old Otto Runge, 30-year-old Kurt Vogel and 25-year-old Hermann Souchon. Official declarations said Liebknecht had been shot in an attempt to escape.
