Peter Walker is suffocated by a plastic bag by serial killer Colin Ireland aka The Gay Slayer at the age of 45 in Battersea, London, Greater London, United Kingdom.

The day after the murder Ireland called a journalist from The Sun newspaper that he had murdered Walker. He told them he wanted to become famous for being a serial killer.
