Gustavo Herrera is beaten and stabbed to death by serial killer Larry Eyler aka The Leather Boy Killer at the age of 28 in Lake Forest, Illinois, United States.

In the course of the fight Eyler’s hand is badly cut between the thumb and forefinger.
