They killed 11 German SS officers, overpowered the camp guards and seized the armory. 158 escapees we killed by the guards or in the minefield surrounding the camp. A further 107 were killed either by the SS, Wehrmacht, or Orpo police units pursuing the escapees.

20-year-old member of the 'Manson Family' Susan Atkins aka Sadie Mae Glutz in Spahn Ranch, 12000 Santa Susana Pass Road, Chatsworth, California, United States. Five days later Atkins and the other women on the ranch arranged for her to move with the baby to a nearby religious mission and retreat house called the Fountain, where some of the girls had stayed occasionally.
