13th President of the Third Republic and 14th President of France Paul Doumer, originally Joseph Athanase Doumerc is shot in the head by assassin Paul Gorguloff at the age of 75 in Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, 11 Rue Berryer, XIIIe, Paris, Île-de-France, France. Two shots hit Doumer at the base of the skull and in the right armpit. Doumer was rushed to Beaujon Hospital where he died the next morning. |
