Painter Raphael born as Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino dies of fever at the age of 37 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. Raphael's fever was caused by a night of excessive sex with Margherita Luti and not telling his doctors that this was its cause was given the wrong cure which killed him.
