Nuncio broke into 61-year-old Pauline Crownover Farris' home through the back door and beat her until she was unrecognizable, then raped her and strangled her to death. He then stole two television sets, a stereo, a VCR and some jewelry. He was arrested almost a week after the murder after selling one of the TV's.

Serial killer Jeanne Weber born as Jeanne Moulinet aka l’Ogresse de la Goutte d’Or dies of nephritis at the age of 44 in Fains-Véel, Lorraine, France. Some sources claim Weber strangled herself in an asylum, most probably she hanged herself during a nephritic crisis.
