Berdella brought Ferris home and drugged him with crushed tranquilizers he had concealed in a meal an then tied him to his bed before torturing him almost constantly for approximately 27 hours. The torture included repeated administering of 7.700-volt electrical shocks to the shoulder and testicles for up to five minutes in each instance and acupuncture via hypodermic needles to the neck and genitals.

Carmelina Russo is presumably abducted and killed by unidentified serial killer Le Dépeceur de Mons aka The Trash Bag Killer at the age of 42 in Mons, Hainaut, Belgium.

Russo's remains were found in pieces floating in the river Escaut 17 days later in Chateau L'Abbaye, France.
