 Singer-songwriter Jim James Travis Reeves dies in a Beechcraft Debonair aircraft crash at the age of 41 in Baxter Lane and Franklin Pike Circle, Brentwood, Tennessee, United States.  Reeves was disoriented by 'Pilot's Vertigo' and actually flying upside down when he tried to take the plane up to avoid a thunderstorm. Instead the plane plunged with its nose into a tree. Reeves' 30-year-old business partner and manager Dean Manuel also died in the crash. |
