His words were not clear through the double-paned windows of the death chamber but he seemed to scream "I'm human! I'm human!" as the airtight door to the room was clamped shut.

Roxie Ann Phillips is raped, beaten and strangled by serial killer John Norman Collins aka The Ypsilanti Killer at the age of 17 in Salinas, California, United States.

Phillips' body was found on 13 July in Pescadero Canyon.
