Jürgen Ponto is shot dead by die Rote Armee Fraktion aka Baader-Meinhof Gruppe at the age of 54 in Oberhöchstadter Straße 69, Oberursel, Hessen, Germany. RAF members Susanne Albrecht, Brigitte Mohnhaupt and Christian Klar attempted to kidnap Ponto but shot him when he resisted. |
