On the day before Feldman and Michael Mileham had swam to a small island in a lake in Mexico City where a local was selling lobster and coconuts. Mileham claimed he got shellfish poisoning which also caused Feldman's death. Mel Brooks added that "smoking sometimes 5 packs of cigarettes daily, drinking copious amounts of black coffee, and a diet rich in eggs and dairy products" may have contributed to Feldman's death.

 Double murderer Christopher Jay Swift is executed by lethal injection at the age of 32 in Huntsville Prison, 815 12th Street, Huntsville, Texas, United States. Swift's last meal request was for a medium-well done steak with sauce, a salad with ranch dressing, cheddar cheese and bacon bits, a baked potato with sour cream, two slices of apple pie, three large rolls, two Cokes and a cup of coffee. |
