36-year-old serial killer Michel Bellen aka The Strangler of the Left Bank is released after serving 17 years of a life sentence in Centrale Gevangenis, Geldenaakse Vest, Leuven, Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium. Six months later Bellen strangled a woman in Leuven.
