Donna Lee Eckard is shot dead by serial killer Randall Woodfield aka The I-5 Killer at the age of 37 in Holiday Road, Mountain Gate, California, United States.

Eckard's 14-year-old daughter Jarvis Janell was sodomised and also shot dead. The same day a female store clerk was kidnapped, raped and sodomized in a holdup in Redding.
