Racecar driver Graham Norman Hill dies in a Piper PA-23-250D Aztec crash at the age of 46 in Golf Course, Arkley, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. On board with Hill were five other members of the Embassy Hill team who all died: manager Ray Brimble, mechanics Tony Alcock and Terry Richards, driver Tony Brise and designer Andy Smallman.
