Murderess Mildred Mary Bolton commits suicide by cutting her wrists with a pair of scissors at the age of 57 in Dwight Correctional Center, 23813 E. 3200 North Road, Nevada Township, Dwight, Illinois, United States. Bolton was the first woman ever sentenced to the electric chair in Cook County.
