Franz Ferdinand, originally Franz Ferdinand Karl Ludwig Josef von Habsburg-Lothringen is assassinated by assassin Gavrilo Princip aka The Teenager who Changed the World at the age of 51 in Latin Bridge, Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Austria-Hungary.

The event triggered the start of World War I.
