On 20 April 1934 John Dillinger's gang, consisting of Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Homer Van Meter, Tommy Carroll, and John "Red" Hamilton settled at Little Bohemia Lodge after Dillinger's escape from the jail in Crown Point, Indiana on 3 March 1934. They were tracked down by FBI agents Melvin Purvis, W. Carter Baum and Jay Newman among others.

Murderer Ahmed Salim is executed by hanging at the age of 35 in Changi Prison, Singapore, , Singapore. Salim was convicted of strangling his former fiancée, Indonesian national Nurhidayati Wartono Surata in 2018. |
