Budd was taken to Wisteria Cottage in White Plains and murdered, cut to pieces and eaten by Fish. In November 1934 Fish sent a letter to Mrs Budd describing how he killed and ate Grace, "It took me 9 days to eat her entire body".

Bank robber and murderer George Collins is executed by hanging in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Collins' neck didn’t break and he slowly strangled to death before the eyes of the appalled executioner and jurors.
