All three survived but Brady suffered brain damage and was permanently disabled. Hinckley was suffering from erotomania and his motivation for the attack was born of his obsession with actress Jodie Foster.

Lyubov Volobuyeva is stabbed to death by serial killer Andrei Chikatilo aka The Rostov Ripper at the age of 14 in Pashkovsky Airport, Krasnodar, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.

Volobuyeva's body with seven knife wounds was found on 7 August 1982 near the airport workshops.
