Double murderer Llewellyn Wilson Peare is executed by hanging at the age of 69 in Oregon State Penitentiary, Salem, Oregon, United States. Peare went on a moonshine spree and killed his wife and a neighbour. He became the oldest man ever executed in Oregon.
