An inquest in the death of 51-year-old artist Richard Sumner told that he had deliberately handcuffed himself to a tree and threw the keys out of reach in Clocaenog Forest, Clawddnewydd, Wales, United Kingdom. Sumner had disappeared in March 2002 and his skeleton was found by a woman who had become lost while walking her dog in April 2005. His sister Patricia Jones told the court that her brother had spoken of taking his own life and she confirmed there had been three previous attempts. |
