55-year-old member of the Rote Armee Fraktion Birgit Hogefeld is released from prison in Strafgefängnis Frankfurt-Preungesheim, Preungesheim, Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Germany. Hogefeld spent 18 years in prison for killing a US soldier and bombing a US airbase in Frankfurt. Hogefeld was the last imprisoned of the RAF members.
