According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Rojem was the state's longest-serving death row prisoner at the time of his execution. Rojem's last meal request was for a small Little Caesars's pizza with double cheese and double pepperoni, eight salt packets, eight crushed red pepper packets, a bottle of ginger ale, a Styrofoam cup and two vanilla ice cream cups.

 Musician Steve Stephen Peter Marriott dies in a fire due to smoking in bed while falling asleep at his 16th century thatched cottage at the age of 44 in Arkesden, Essex, United Kingdom. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death by smoke inhalation was recorded. Marriott's blood was found to contain quantities of Valium, alcohol and cocaine. |
