After an argument with his mother about sending him to a boarding school Jenkins bludgeoned his parents and grandparents to death with a hammer. Inexplicably, somehow he kept Megan from discovering the carnage. The next morning Jenkins took her with him to buy an axe which he used to kill her once they returned to the condo.

36-year-old murderer and cannibal Nicolas Cocaign aka Le Cannibale de Rouen kills his 41-year-old cellmate Thierry Baudry, cut open his chest with a razorblade and ate part of his lung, which he presumed to be his heart in Maison d'Arrêt, Rouen, Haute-Normendie, France. A third convict, David Lagrue watched the act in stupefied terror and committed suicide in prison in November 2009.
