Oleg Makarenkov is stabbed to death by serial killer Andrei Chikatilo aka The Rostov Ripper at the age of 13 in Revda Station, Revda, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.

Makarenkov's body was not found until 1991, after Chikatilo's arrest.
