JonBenét was found covered in her special white blanket. There was a nylon cord around her neck, her wrists were tied above her head and her mouth was covered by duct tape. A garrote made from a length of cord and the broken handle of a paintbrush had been used to strangle JonBenét. The crime was never solved.

23-year-old serial killer Wayne Boden aka The Vampire Rapist is arrested in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The day before Boden raped and strangled 33-year-old high school teacher Elizabeth Anne Porteous in her apartment. Her breasts were mutilated with bite marks and amid the wreckage the police discovered Boden's broken cufflink under her body.
