During the time Henry was being tried Louisiana changed its method of execution from hanging to death by electrocution. Henry was executed within the basement of the Lake Charles Prison in Louisiana's portable electric chair which had been brought by truck from Angola the previous day. Henry was the only woman executed in Louisiana's electric chair.

Mass murderer Joseph Garcia is executed by hanging by William Marwood at the age of 21 in Usk Prison, Usk, Monmouthshire, United Kingdom. Garcia stabbed 40-year-old William Watkins and his 44-year-old wife Elizabeth to death and hacked 8-year-old Charlotte, 5-year-old Frederick and 4-year-old Alice to death with an axe as they lay asleep. |
