Spree killer James Edward Pough aka Pop commits suicide by a shot through the head at the age of 42 in 7870 Baymeadows Way, Jacksonville, Florida, United States. Minutes before Pough walked into a General Motors Acceptance Corporation car loan office to buy a new car but decided to shoot 14 people, leaving 9 dead. The day before he shot and killed 30-year-old prostitute Doretta Drake and 39-year-old pimp Louis Carl Bacon.
