Frazier believed he was an agent of God. 18-year-old Taura Ohta and her 11-year-old sister Lark survived. Taura commited suicide by an overdose of pills and attempted to asphyxiate herself with carbon monoxide gas in her garage seven years later.

Nico born as Christa Päffgen aka Das Einsame Mädchen dies of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 50 in Hospital Can Misses, Carretera de la Corona 32, Ibiza Town, Islas Baleares, Spain. Nico had a heart attack while riding a bicycle and hit her head as she fell. A passing taxi driver found her unconscious and took her to the hospital.
