All 43 passengers and crew aboard the plane died. Burke's main target was his ex-manager Ray Thomson. After boarding the plane Burke wrote a message on an airsickness bag reading: "Hi Ray. I think it's sort of ironical that we end up like this. I asked for some leniency for my family. Remember? Well, I got none and you'll get none."

Aniuta Kaliniak is found tortured and garotted by serial killer Łucjan Staniak aka The Red Spider of Katowice at the age of 16 in Praga, Warszawa, Województwo Mazowieckie, Poland.

Kaliniak was found with a 6 inch metal spike through her genitals.
