The next day Frau Flake was not able to swallow properly. On her neck she had a large red swelling 70mm long by 7,5mm wide, on the left a painful reddish mark 50mm long and 30mm wide. The skin of the whole face was covered with contusions in size from a pin point to a pea. The conjuntivae of both eyes were partly congested. In the mucuous membrane of the mouth were numerous abrasions.

36-year-old leader of Les Cellules Communistes Combattantes Pierre Carette starts hungerstriking in a campaign to acquire the status of political prisoner in Prison de St. Gilles, Avenue Ducpétiaux 106, Saint-Gilles, Brussel, Brabant, Belgium. Carette's three comrads Didier Chevolet, Bertrand Sassoye and Pascal Vandegeerde joined him.
