Stage actress Peg Millicent Lilian Entwistle commits suicide by jumping off the Hollywood Sign at the age of 24 in Hollywood Sign, Los Angeles, California, United States. Entwistle died of multiple fractures of the pelvis. A suicide note read "I am afraid, I am a coward. I am sorry for everything. If I had done this a long time ago, it would have saved a lot of pain. P.E."
